At Tatum Untied, we don’t believe that this terrible disease can be tied up in a pretty pink bow. We want to share Tatum’s story in a raw and honest way. We want to share the good, the bad, AND the ugly. In this way, we hope to educate the public about what this disease really looks like. For that reason, although many of the images in this collection are beautiful and portray incredibly happy and meaningful memories of Tatum’s journey, others will illustrate the physical toll that the disease took on her body, including the process of healing after her surgeries and intimate moments leading to her death. Some images may be difficult to view, but it is our belief that knowledge is power, and a picture can be worth a thousand words.
